All contributions to Matern2020 through Matern2020.com, or through any of its subsidiary or affiliated websites, must be made from a contributor’s own funds, not funds provided to the contributor by another person, and using a personal credit card, not a corporate credit card. Contributions may not be made by any corporation, labor union, federal government contractor, or foreign national (non-citizens without a “green card”), nor may contributions be made using the general treasury funds of a corporation, labor organization or national bank.
Contributions to Matern 2020 are not deductible for federal income tax purposes. Funds received in response to any solicitation will be subject to federal contribution limits and source prohibitions. The Matern 2020 presidential campaign committee may accept contributions of up to $2,800 per election from an individual, up to $5,600 per election from a married couple, and up to $5,000 per election from a federal PAC. Contributions from individuals up to $2,800 will be designated for the primary election, and contributions up to an additional $2,800 will be designated for the general election to the extent permitted by law. Federal law requires our best efforts to obtain and report the name, address, occupation, and employer of individuals whose contributions aggregate in excess of $200 per election cycle.
All contributions to Matern 2020 are final. Refunds and cancellations may be given at the sole discretion of Matern 2020.
